Why use Flatseal?

When we install some FlatPak app, we may find that it requires certain permissions and settings, to be able to function completely well on our Operating System.

For example, personally, once I installed a Win App by Bottles application, which in turn, was installed with Flatpak. And despite the fact that it ran very well, and allowed the new files created to work from it without major problems, it would not let me open an existing file located on My Personal Folder (/home/myuser).

So, to solve the problem, install and run Flat Seal. Then select the app Bottles to proceed to give read/write permissions about My Personal Folder. For this, I went to “File system” section and I enabled the "All User Files" option.

And ready. I solved the problem, since when I started the Bottles application again, and opened any of the WinApps installed with it, they all already had read/write permission to My Personal Folder.
