How to disable Amazon Suggestions in Ubuntu 13.10

Ubuntu 13.10, Amazon

If you use Ubuntu 13.10 and you want the suggestions from Amazon, eBay and other stores to disappear from the Dash of Unity, all you have to do is disable scopes relevant. It is just as simple as uninstall shopping glasses en Ubuntu 12.10 y Ubuntu 13.04; however, in Saucy Salamander scopes can only be disabled, not uninstalled.

Scopes to disable are: Amazon, eBay, Music Store, Popular Tracks Online, Skimlinks, Ubuntu One Music Search and Ubuntu Shop.

To deactivate them all at once we can open a console and enter the following command:

gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Lenses disabled-scopes "['more_suggestions-amazon.scope', 'more_suggestions-u1ms.scope', 'more_suggestions-populartracks.scope', 'music-musicstore.scope', 'more_suggestions-ebay.scope', 'more_suggestions-ubuntushop.scope', 'more_suggestions-skimlinks.scope']"

They can also be deactivated one by one from the section Applications → Filter Results → Type → Search Plug-ins of the Dash from Unity. Once we select the relevant scope, we simply have to click on the "Deactivate" button.
