Blender is maybe the program modeling, animation and creation of three-dimensional graphics most popular in the world of free software which has been constantly evolving over the years, adding many interesting features in recent months, such as the rendering engine for non-photorealistic objects called Freestyle.
Blender 2.68
A few days ago the version 2.68 of Blender, which includes an interesting number of improvements in different areas of the program, such as in the section on physics, modeling and performance when rendering objects. Days later an update of said version (2.68a) arrived, which fix 14 bugs present in 2.68. That is why if you want to update to the latest version of Blender, there can't be a better time.
Installation
The most current version of Blender available in the official repositories of Ubuntu 13.04 ("Universe") is 2.66, so to update to the latest version of the software you have to add an extra repository, which also serves to Ubuntu 12.10 y Ubuntu 12.04.
To add the repository we simply execute:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:irie/blender
Then simply update the local information:
sudo apt-get update
And update:
sudo apt-get install blender

I am new to linux thank you very much, I think it is better than 3dsm and draft better than acad for the simple fact that the pc works more fluid since autocad today asks you for 5 or 6 gb of ram and 3ds max tb as well of dedicated video 2 gb I have that on my pc but I am not going to promote the pc business because I need programs to develop my work
