Libgcrypt11 makes Spotify and Brackets not working on Ubuntu 15.04

Not a week ago from the official launch of Ubuntu 15.04 and we already have a big error in the distribution. Although this great error has an easy solution and for what it is, it is possibly temporary. Apparently the new version of Ubuntu has removed a library from its repositories which makes programs used such as Spotify or Brackets unable to work.

If you have made an update, Spotify or Brackets, as well as other programs that use this library will continue to work, however if you do a clean installation, you will have this problem.

The library in question is libgcrypt11 which is no longer in the Ubuntu 15.04 repositories, the closest library would be libgcrypt20, so when installing the programs that use it, the installation will work but the program will not work.

You have to use libgcrypt11 from previous versions to correct the problem

Now, the solution to this problem is quite simple: install the library ourselves. Currently versions prior to Vivid Vervet have libgcrypt11 so we either download it and install it or use a non-Canonical repository to install this library. What's more, there is currently a version for 32 bits and also to 64 bits and other multi platform that we can use well. After this, Spotify, Brackets and other programs that use libgcrypt11 will be able to function properly.

Although the problem is silly, it is a serious error since there are many who use programs that work with the libgcrypt11 library, however, its solution is very easy even for newbies; however this type of problem is appearing quite a bit in Ubuntu and its derivatives. Not long ago, in the latest LTS version of Ubuntu a similar bug appeared in the Lubuntu flavor. Although it is already solved, the problem persisted a long time, becoming a nuisance. Maybe these problems are what Mark Shuttleworth saw that made Ubuntu not a rolling release or maybe not, even so I have to admit that the Ubuntu community is doing a magnificent job since their reports and solutions are fast and effective, maybe because of it, Ubuntu has more than 25 million users.

Thank you very much for your contribution, the truth was very useful to me. I had been trying to install this library for several days without much success, until now. I downloaded and installed the file from this page and it worked for me.

The same as Ider and Andrés. Thank you very much for your contribution. I could not install a browser that I find very good, for stable and fast. Just in case, I suggest it. It's called Maxthon. I recommend it!
