Starting gun. We already have our first official statement: Lubuntu 23.10 Mantic Minotaur, which had been available on the Canonical server for minutes, has now been officially announced. Among its most notable new features, the desktop chosen was LXQt 1.3.0, and the kernel, shared with the rest of the family, Linux 6.5. For most of the base, it is recommended to read the Ubuntu release notes, since all flavors are Ubuntu with their own style.
The team that develops Lubuntu is not one of those that creates the most diverse release notes. They have facilitated a short one News list which we are already in charge of expanding a little. We will also mention some of the known problems.

To consider: "During testing, we realized that if you try to create an encrypted installation without a passphrase, Lubuntu will install unencrypted. This is unlikely to be a problem for most users as disk encryption requires a passphrase to be effective. You can find more information here«.
The new Lubuntu 23.10 Mantic Minotaur image is available from your official website, and also in the Ubuntu cdimage. Updates from the operating system are supported if you are on 23.04, something that can be done from Discover when they are activated, which can happen at any time. To update from 22.04 you have to follow the path of 22.10, 23.04 and then 23.10. Although Jumping from Jammy Jellifish is possible from the installation media, not recommended because things are not guaranteed to end up working well in the long term.
