Meizu PRO 5, the most powerful Ubuntu Phone, now available on the market

Meizu for 5

It has been on the market for a few weeks and we did not want to miss the opportunity to present you the latest terminal from the Meizu company. Nails on impressive technical characteristics, Meizu PRO 5 becomes, at least for the moment, the most powerful Ubuntu phone on the market.

Although its launch took place in mid-February 2016, only advance reservations of the terminal were accepted and it has not been until the past April 26 when the Canonical company and the well-known Chinese manufacturer wanted to officially open its sale to the public.

When we talk about impressive technical characteristics in the new Meizu Pro 5 we are not short. This new terminal has a Samsung Exynos 7420 Octacore microprocessor, a graphics processor based on MALI T760 GPU, a wide 5.7-inch AMOLED-type screen with FullHD resolution (1920 x 1080 MPx) and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Su front camera is 5 MPx and the rear camera is 21.16 MPx, the latter being equipped with an advanced focusing system in its rear camera that uses a PDAF laser for user assistance as well as LARGAN 6P lenses for improved resolution in the photographs that are taken.

This careful design is finished off by a 32GB internal storage memory, HiFi speakers, 3050 mAh battery with fast recharge capability and two SIM card slots, all in just 168 grams.

As the only negative note, we find that, although its large internal capacity may seem sufficient, some users will see it scarce and, as has happened in previous models of this same brand, We will not have a compartment to insert our own external memory card.

The specifications that we have indicated place this terminal in the high range of smartphones, still remaining in a very reasonable price (369.99 dollars, about 328 euros to change). At the moment it is possible to order an order from this terminal through the following link, so those of you who made the pre-reservation it is your time to get it.
