OpenExpo 2016, an event to enjoy Free Software

Open Expo Day 2015

Next June 2 will take place a new edition of the OpenExpo event, the most important national fair on Free Software and Open Source in the business world. The event will take place in the MEEU Space, Attic of the Chamartín Station, in Madrid. In this edition, the third, to be more specific, is intended to more than 2.000 people related to Free Software projects gather and companies in order to promote Business Open Source and in this edition the topic will be expanded with Open World Economy, dealing with topics such as Open Data or Open Innovation.

As in previous editions, OpenExpo will take place workshops, keynotes, exhibitions, round tables, workshops and demos of free software organized and led by professionals in the sector. Also in parallel will take place the traditional stands of companies and services of those who want to present their projects in the largest Free Software meeting that exists in Spain and make them known among the visitors of the event. In total we are talking about more than 70 presentations and 100 companies participants that will attract more than 2.000 professionals from the sector.

Javier Zorzano, a technological expert at Telefónica I + D; carmen cuesta, CEO of NimbrePayments- BBVA; Javier Rodriguez Easter, Director of CTIC Comunidad de Madrid; or Malcolm Bain, Owner at ID Law Partners, among others.
