As has been customary for years, a new edition of OpenExpo will take place at the beginning of June, one of the largest fairs in the country dedicated to the world of Free Software.

The fourth edition of OpenExpo will take place at La N @ ve, in Madrid, on June 1. The venue where this edition will take place has more than 5.900 square meters that will be used with company stands and activities related to the world of open source and Free Software as well as talks and workshops that will be given free for all attendees.

Large companies in the technology sector will be present at this event, confirming their attendance at the event, companies such as Microsoft, Red Hat, Uber, Irontec, etc ... up to a total of 200 companies. Although we have to say that not all will have the same degree of participation. While companies like Uber only participate in the presentations, Microsoft or Red Hat are exhibiting companies, companies that will have their booth at the venue.

The cloud and IoT sector will be the protagonists of this edition of OpenExpo

Among the most notable attendees is Chema Alonso, one of the most important Internet security professionals, who has currently helped solve the WannaCry problem on many computers. Pau García-Milá will also be present at the talks and conferences at OpenExpo, where the founder of EyeOS will talk about Fast Innovation.

However OpenExpo is not characterized by its talks but rather to put in relation to companies and users. Thus, it will once again highlight its Networking & Beers spaces, spaces where people interact under the cover of a good beer (or coffee, whatever you prefer). The OpenTalks or open talks are also a strong point of the Fair. And this year they will also have interactive areas, areas where users can enjoy holograms, free technologies, virtual reality, simulators, robots, 3D printing, etc. Because Free Software can also be focused on the world of leisure.

Tickets are already available from the official OpenExpo website as well as the rest of the information: the names of the workshops, the companies that will attend, all the talks, the speakers, how to get there, etc... But if you are already clear and want to participate in this event, in Ubunlog We have gotten free tickets for our readers. You can get them through this link. Let's go on a date from Mandatory assistance if we want to be informed of the latest news in terms of Cloud, Free Software, IoT, Free Programming, etc ... Are you going to miss it? !!
