PDF Metadata

Es a PDF document metadata editor which allows us to add or change the values ​​of the following parameters

  • Qualification.
  • Author.
  • Affair.
  • Keywords.
  • Creator.
  • Producer.
  • Modification date.
  • Blocking.

Metadata provides descriptive information about the document which helps with its classification, but it can also provide information that affects privacy.

PDF Metadata supports the following formats:

  • Basic: They include title, author and subject.
  • XMP PDF: They are format-specific and include information about the number of pages, paper size, and version of the PDF.
  • XMP Dublin Core: They are metadata that follow a 15-element scheme for describing digital resources in a standardized way.
  • XMP: It is a metadata standard created by Adobe to exchange information and achieve integration between different applications and formats.

PDF Metadata can use the international characters supported by Unicode, it comes with predefined templates ready to complete in case the document does not have metadata and for saving documents with another name.

All these features are free. For an additional payment the following can be enabled:

  • Batch editing to set metadata fields across multiple files.
  • Batch metadata deletion.
  • Batch rename.
  • Export of metadata in JSON or YAML formats for further processing.
  • Use from the command line.
