Install Planner on Ubuntu

For many of the Gnu / Linux distributions, this program we can install it as flatpak package. If you use Ubuntu 20.04 and you still do not have this technology enabled on your system, you can continue The Guide that a colleague wrote on this blog a while ago.

Once we can install Flatpak packages on our system, we will only need to open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and use the following install command:

install planner

flatpak install flathub com.github.alainm23.planner

After installation, we can search for the program launcher on our computer. It also can start the program by typing in terminal:

app launcher

flatpak run com.github.alainm23.planner

uninstall

For remove this task scheduler from the system, it will only be necessary to open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and execute the command in it:

uninstall planner

flatpak uninstall com.github.alainm23.planner

This program was originally designed for a seamless elementary operating system experience. If you want a better user experience, you can try installing an elementary OS theme and icons. But this is optional.

Even with all the functions that this program offers, it is quite easy to organize your tasks. It also offers a simple user interface suitable for all users. It doesn't matter if you want to manage a large number of tasks using all the functionalities, or you just want to add some to-do lists, Planner is a tool that can be of great help. You can visit the page on GitHub of the project for more information.
