As indicated in the project's GitHub repository there are some settings that need to be done to start using this software. We are going to need a Spotify account (Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days) and a developer app to be able to get the clientId and clientSecret. This developer app can be created easily and for free. It will only be necessary to go to https://developer.spotify.com/dashboard/login and sign in with Spotify account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create one.

sign in with spotify

When we are logged in, we will create a web application by pressing the button “Create an APP".

create spotify app

In the window that will open, we will have to give the app a name and description.

local account settings

Later it will be necessary edit the configuration and add the following URL http://localhost:4304/auth/spotify/callback as a redirect URI for the app, as can be seen in the previous screenshot. This step is important for authentication. After saving this window we will return to the central page.
