The first installation method is for those users who still use versions prior to Ubuntu 18.04, such as, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

For these versions of Ubuntu we can make use of a repository and thus be able to install the application on our system without having to do any extra configuration.

Only We must open a terminal in our system with Ctrl + Alt + T and execute the following command in it:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps

Once the repository has been added, we proceed to update our list of packages and repositories with this command:

sudo apt-get update

Finally we can install the application with this command:

sudo apt-get install streamstudio

And with that they will already have StreamStudio installed on their systems.

For the case of those who are users of the current version of Ubuntu what is the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS version we must download the application, for this we must download it from the following link.

Done the download we must unzip the file just obtained with:

unzip streamstudio-64.zip

We enter the folder with:

cd streamstudio-64.zip

Y being inside we are going to execute the following file to open the application:

sudo sh ./streamstudio.sh

And that's it, we can start using the application to watch and download our favorite YouTube and Dailymotion videos.

In the words of the application developer, the translations may be incomplete, since at the moment they do not have an official website for the project.

We can only find part of the code of the program's graphical interface on Github, they will be able to request help if they require it to the developer through their Facebook page of the application, where he kindly shared with me the download link that I put at his disposal right here.
