  • This program also has timeline zoom. This will allow us up to 20 zoom levels, making it easier for us to adjust our subtitles.
  • The program can display the grid to help visualize by frames, seconds or scenes. While dragging the subtitles, we can adjust the beginning / end by moving them around the grid.
  • Plays from the beginning of the last current subtitle / subtitle, from the current position of the timeline cursor, and from the beginning of the next subtitle. At the same time we can adjust the playback speed.
  • Undo unlimited changes. It will allow us to undo mistakes without limits.

Install Subtitld on Ubuntu

First of all, say that we may need to install the following library on our computer for this program to work correctly, whether we install it from snap or install it from source:

install dependencies

sudo apt install libmpv-dev

This application is available for both Gnu / Linux and Windows. In Ubuntu we will be able to install Subtitld from Snapcraft. To proceed with this installation, we will only have to open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and execute the command:

install subtitld

sudo snap install subtitld

Once the installation is complete, we can launch the program looking for your pitcher on our team.

If you would like to remove this program from your computer, you just have to open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and run in it:

uninstall snap from subtitld

sudo apt remove subtild
