The first development versions of Ubuntu 17.04 are now available

Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zappus

A few days ago we told you that Ubuntu 17.04 development had already started and that not only the nickname of Ubuntu 17.04 was confirmed, being Ubuntu Zesty Zapus the real nickname, but we also knew news about development changes.

And already, since last October 26, Ubuntu users and lovers can get daily versions of Ubuntu 17.04. These versions are versions that are released every day, from the opening of development until the end of development, an end that in the case of Ubuntu 17.04 we still do not know.

But don't be overjoyed. Currently, as in all Ubuntu developments, the first daily versions of Ubuntu are usually stable versions of the previous version but with some small changes. So, in this case, the first Daily versions of Ubuntu 17.04 are Ubuntu 16.10 versions with minor changes.

Ubuntu 17.04 still has a lot of Ubuntu 16.10 and little news ...

And although from my words it can be deduced that these versions are harmless, the truth is that they are development versions and it is recommended not to use in production equipment, since there can be serious problems that annoy our work. That is why I recommend that you use virtual machines to install this version or test what changes are being made little by little in the distribution.

You can get the Ubuntu 17.04 installation images at this link, where are the stable versions, the flavors and main and of course the daily versions of Ubuntu.

Possibly do the latter of the virtual machine to try not only Ubuntu 17.04 but also Unity 8 and see how both products work in a virtual machine, something that surely many of you have already done or will be doing and is that the new Ubuntu generates more expectation than what is available Do not you think?
