The new version of DaVinci Resolve 17 has already been released

Blackmagic design (a professional video camera and video processing company) has presented a new release significant non-linear editing and color correction system DaVinci Solve 17, used by many of Hollywood's renowned film studios in the production of movies, television series, commercials, television shows, and video clips.

DaVinci Resolve brings together editing, color grading, overdubbing, finishing, and final product creation in a single application.

DaVinci Resolve 17 Key New Features

In this new version of DaVinci Resolve 17 is a major upgrade of the program with more than 100 new functions and 200 improvements.

Of which HDR highlights that allows you to create color circles with custom attenuations for specific tonal ranges for greater creative control when making subtle adjustments.

Another important change is in the chromatic distortion tool with graticule which allows modifying two parameters simultaneously, for example, hue and saturation, or chrominance and luminance. Adjustments are made by dragging control points, thus providing the ability to gradually fade for a sharper, more natural look. It's a completely different way of transforming color in shots.

In addition, the ability to use a composite image blending is highlighted as an effect, titles or transition in editing and compilation.

In DaVinci Resolve 17 11 new Resolve FX plugins stand out to enhance texture, restore details, perform 3D, HSL and luma inlays, video conversion and noise reduction, create motion loops, blur, false color and collages.

On the other hand, also new additional options are highlighted for sound post-processing in Fairlight, Innovative enhancements, tools and features are included to deliver unsurpassed quality during audio post-production.

Fairlight Audio Core is a next-generation engine with low latency that intelligently manages workload using all CPU cores and threads, as well as the optional Fairlight Audio Accelerator card. This allows you to manage up to 2000 tracks with EQ, dynamics processors and 6 plug-ins for each of them in a single system.

Of them select mode and new key combinations are highlighted that allow you to access functions previously only possible through the Fairlight Audio Editor component and they speed up editing to a great extent.

The free version adds collaboration tools that allow several people to be involved simultaneously in the execution of the same project.

How to get DaVinci Resolve 17?

DaVinci Resolve builds are ready for Linux, Windows, and macOSIt is important to mention that there are two versions, the commercial version (paid) and the free version.

Although the latter has restrictions associated with the launch of products for commercial film projections in cinemas (installation and correction of 3D cinema color, ultra-high resolutions, etc.), but does not limit the basic capabilities of the package, support for professional formats for import and export, third party plugins.
