Wine 2.7 brings improvements for Adobe Photoshop CS6, iTunes and the shaders in Direct3D 11

The popular software emulator for GNU / Linux platforms Wine has recently been updated to the Wine version 2.7. The new update comes about two weeks after the previous maintenance releases with the purpose of fixing various problems reported by users lately with Windows games and applications, but also to add more optimizations.

On the other hand, the new Wine 2.7 also fixes bug fixes for various Windows games, including Need for Speed: Carbon demo, Stronghold 2, Purge, DiRT 3, Quantum Of Solace demo, The Witcher 3, Final Fantasy XIV, Nox (GOG), Transcendence, Unbox, Tree of Savior, The Technomancer, Darkest Dungeon, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

Wine 2.7 also aims to fix some problems with various Windows applications, among which we can mention Adobe Photoshop CS6, iTunes, Regedit, Corman Lisp, Qvod 5, Kontakt 5 Player, Cisco Jabber 11.6, Serato DJ 1.9.2, Sonic Pi 2 , DeSmuME 0.9.8, ViStart, Microsoft SQL Server, Propellerhead Reason 5, and Steuer-Spar-Erklärung 2017.
