I have the Fluxbox window manager, but some KDE 3.5 services are loaded underneath; the theme is Scummy modified by me to make the window borders smaller. (and to provide some missing window icons).
I downloaded the background from neosurrealismart.org
At the top I have Eterm periodically showing the dmesg information; I use xpad to make annotations on the desktop itself and in the bar on the right (which is automatically hidden when I do not have the mouse over it; called the Slit in Fluxbox) I am executing the following:
gkrellm - It's on the right, it's a system monitor
Gkrellm Wifi - Wifi Monitor for Gkrellm (The page no longer exists, but we can find the project, perhaps in the repository of our distribution)
wmcalc - Quick calculator, just by placing the mouse over it we can write the operations and the result comes out
wmwork - Work time manager, very small and useful
Wmsmixer - Sound Mixer
Dwgo - Don't want to go outside, tells us the temperature and weather conditions in a confined space.

Thank you all for participating!
Would you like to show your desktop on the blog?
Requirements: GNU / Linux Operating System Send a detail of what is seen in the capture, desktop environment, theme, icons, desktop background, etc. (If you have a blog send the address to put it) Send me your captures to ubunblog [at] gmail.com , and the first monday of every month I will publish an entry with the desks that are arriving
I loved David L's desktop, now that I remember it I was waiting for the next version of KDE to come out to use that transparency and blur effect in the windows, it looks very good, in Gnome I had the gtkargb but I removed it because it gave me some problems: S.
In short, the versatility that GNU / Linux environments have in terms of the graphic aspect is incredible.
I already sent mine very late :(, but well it will be for the next one hehehe
greetings: 3, excellent desks! 😀
The desks are very good, but the one I liked the most was Itzvan's 😛
@Frank. I'm glad you loved my desktop 🙂 but I think oxygen-transparent is not available for version 4.6 as it has a lot to polish.
Greetings and thanks for taking into account my desk 😛
These desks inspire a lot, I liked the one by Juan B. It took me a bit to get the links to the topics but in the end I left my desk like that, Thank you.
David C .: Could you share your wallpaper in a better resolution?
Nice Anuxi wallpaper.
Funny all these users type "Name X", where "X" is a letter of the alphabet xD!
Of course, if here I leave you the link of the image:
http://dropmocks.com/mPTQD
