In the next article we are going to take a look at Cloud Sticky Notes. This is one free, simple and customizable sticky note taking app which is based on Java. It is a utility known to many people who use Mac, Windows and Gnu / Linux, since it runs on all three platforms, among others. It has a user interface reminiscent of the famous Windows Sticky Notes app, so it should be easy for anyone to get going.
In it we can add, edit and delete notes offline and without problems. Cloud Sticky Notes will automatically sync our data every time you're online, if that's what we're looking for, so we won't have to manually sync data to the cloud.
The latest version has improved its security standards and now stores notes both locally (in our system) as remotely in Amazon EC2. Of course, we will have to configure an account to access the server where all our data will be encrypted.
Cloud Sticky Notes was written by the same developer who created RentBOLD (a rental platform), Buddy Comms (a communication tool for gamers), and Easy File Cabinet.
While I have tested this utility, I had no stability issues thanks to the fact that the tool did not freeze, crash, or cause error dialogs. As expected, it had minimal impact on computer performance, running with low CPU and RAM. It's a shame it hasn't been updated for quite some time.
General features of Cloud Sticky Notes
This program offers users some interesting features. Among them, perhaps the following should be highlighted:

Use Cloud Sticky Notes
Cloud Sticky Notes is a customizable sticky note app for people who like to have quick to-do lists or easy-access reminders complete with reminders.
We will be able to start Cloud Sticky Notes directly in our browser or download and install the Java executable file from our desktop. Do not forget that we must have Java installed, requires Java 7 (JRE 1.7) or newer on our computer to run applications based on this programming language.
We can download Jar package of this program and run it on our computer by typing in the terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T):

If you decide launch Cloud Sticky Notes via WebStart, you may see a warning because the app requires network connectivity, hard drive access, and is self-signed. Here each one must assess whether it is worth giving these access permissions to a program.
If we want that the application runs automatically when our team starts, we will depend on our distribution, as any Gnu / Linux user knows. If you're not sure what to do, look into the autostart (/home/user/.config/autostart/). Use the JNLP or JAR file.
