KDE Plasma 5.15.3 now available with improvements in Flatpak

plasma 5.15.2

KDE yesterday had the pleasure of announce el Plasma 5.15.3 release, just two weeks after v5.15.2 release. As always, or at least since I follow them, the release information note says the same thing: they have released an update "Bugfix" (bug fix), the version number, remember that Plasma 5.15 was released in February and that it was a version that included many interesting new features. The good thing is that it is true, I confirm that I am right now in v5.15.2 and I have verified that it is more fluid than the version that Kubuntu 18.10 brings by default.

They also explain, as on other occasions, that the work has been worthwhile for including translations and corrections provided by contributors. They mention as more important that the individual clicks activate the modules correctly again when the system is in double click mode or that fixed a stuttering animation, as well as what has fixed sorting of tasks on the last desktop in sort by desktop mode.

It also stands out that three bugs have been corrected in the Flatpak package manager. In the full list of changes indicate that they have included news and improvements in:

  • discover.
  • drkonqi.
  • KDE GTK Config.
  • Plasma Addons.
  • Information Center.
  • Info Center.
  • KWin.
  • libksysguard.
  • PlasmaDesktop.
  • Plasma Audio Volume Control.
  • Plasma Workspace.
  • Powerdevil.
  • System settings.
  • xdg-desktop-portal-kde.

I can confirm that Plasma 5.15.3 not yet available for download and installation via repository, not even in the official repositories that I added yesterday when I found out about this release. Right now, the latest version is v5.15.2, but v5.15.3 is expected to be available in the next few hours.

And it is that in the end I have fallen and it has been a while i am enjoying kubuntu, a system on which I am writing an article that I will publish later this week. And you? Can't decide to try Plasma?
