New applications and updates that have arrived this week in the GNOME circle

Errand becomes part of GNOME Circle

GNOME published entry number 113 of its initiative known as TWIG. The changes, which reflect what happened from September 8 to 15, include many updates, or so they say in their headline. Then, when we read the article, we see that there are, but perhaps not so many to highlight it right away. I find it more interesting that they accept new applications in their circle, and that has happened again this week.

The lucky app is called Errands, and allows us to keep track of our tasks with a good set of functions, such as sub-tasks, custom colors and history of previously deleted tasks. What you have below is the rest of the News list that they published a few hours ago.

This week in GNOME

  • Photometric Viewer now has the ability to convert between IESNA and EULUMDAT file formats. Additionally, you can export photometric data in CSV and JSON formats, as well as light distribution curves in PNG or SVG formats. Furthermore, the software now allows you to calculate the annual energy consumption of the luminaire and compare its light color temperature with that of common light sources. Now the app is also available in German and Polish.
