KDE was pleased with the release of Plasma 5.24. They said that everything went quite well, and introduced some colorful new features, such as the new overview. Still, seven days ago today threw the first point update of the series and fixed more bugs than expected in a version of the graphics environment that was supposed to be quite polished. A few moments ago, the K team launched plasma 5.24.2, and it seems that this time they have had less work.
Although it is assumed that in maintenance updates only bugs are corrected, they can also make small aesthetic tweaks to make the interface more consistent. Even so, no one expects very outstanding news; those are reserved for the next version of KDE's graphical environment, Plasma 5.25.
Some new features of Plasma 5.24.2

KDE released Plasma 5.24.2 a few moments ago, and that usually means two things. The first is that your code is now available for those who want to download it and work with it. The second is that the new features are already available in KDE neon and will soon be in the KDE Backports repository. The rest of the distributions, except for the Rolling Release, will have to wait a little longer to be able to install Plasma 5.24.2.
