The world of Linux-based operating systems is vast and there are distributions for all tastes and needsThus we can find special distributions for companies, distros specialized in security, others in entertainment and multimedia, or others, as is the case at hand today, specialized for the smallest of our house.
In this new article I am going to present you a few GNU / Linux distributions created especially for the smallest of the house.
These distributions that I am going to recommend below are a personal list, since I myself have used for the entertainment and education and I play my own little one from the house.
All these Linux distros have in common that they are created for an audience child and youth, all of them oriented to education through play and entertainment, a different way of learning by playing, while they are getting used to the world of computing and knowing how to function on a personal computer and with an operating system.
The best thing to be able to safely leave the computer to our little one, is create a MultiBooteable USB with several of these specialized live distros, in this way, you can try more than one distribution on a single PenDrive or CD.
Edubuntu
Edubuntu is the Ubuntu distro aimed at a younger audienceIt has a graphical interface very similar to that of Windows and is very easy and intuitive to use.
dodudolinux
doudolinux It is a Linux distro, specialized for the little ones, one of the best there is, it has multitude of games and applications and it is recommended for boys and girls from only two years old.
Qimo for Kids
Qimo is another of the great distro specialized in the infantile public, its graphical interface is of the most currado that we can find, as well as the large number of educational apps and games that will delight the little ones in the house.(from the age of three)
LinuxKidX
LinuxKidX has the KDE desktop by default, it is based on Slackware and is only available in English y Portuguese, a good way to start with language classes for the little ones in the house.
It has a lot of educational applications and games oriented for ages between two and ten years.
