Install WeekToDo on Ubuntu

As snap package

If you are interested in installing the WeekToDo programmer in Ubuntu, you can use its corresponding snap pack. To carry out the installation with this type of package, we will only have to open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T), and install the latest stable released version of the program using the following command:

install snap package

sudo snap install weektodo

If at another time, when a program update is published, we are interested update it, you just have to use the command:

sudo snap refresh weektodo

After installation, we can start the program from the Applications menu, or from any other app launcher that we have available in our team. It will also allow us to start the program by typing in a terminal:

For uninstall the WeekToDo program installed as snap package, we will only have to open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and use the uninstall command shown below:

sudo snap remove weektodo

As deb package

To install this program as a .DEB package in Ubuntu, we will have to download said package from releases page of the project. In addition, to download the latest version published today, we can also open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and run wget in it as follows:

wget https://github.com/Zuntek/WeekToDoWeb/releases/download/v1.4.0/WeekToDo_1.4.0_amd64.deb

When the download is finished, we only have to go to the folder in which we have saved the file, and install it by running in the same terminal the command:

install weektodo deb

sudo apt install ./WeekToDo_1.4.0_amd64.deb

At the end of the installation, we can search for the program launcher on our system to start the program.

If you are interested uninstall this software, it will only be necessary to open a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) and write in it:

uninstall deb package

sudo apt remove weektodo
