This is the 52nd week since the first «TWIG» article was published, so it has just turned its first year. The above are the acronyms for "This Week In GNOME", which translated into Spanish is This Week In GNOME, and I don't know if it has coincided that in the last seven days they have introduced/work is being done on many new features or if they wanted to wait for the article for this week 52 to be full of new features.
Because this article is longer than other weeks (such as this o this). And it is complete, since it talks about several proprietary applications, others from third parties, libraries and even GUADEC 2022, a conference that will take place from July 20 to 25 in Guadalajara, Mexico. - Files 43.alpha has been released, fully functional with GTK4. Nautilus now uses AdwFlap for the sidebar, and the icons are hidden if the window is too narrow.
- libadwaita supports new apps to display information about them. Between them:
- Disk usage analyzer.

- GTK 4.7.1, a development release leading up to v4.8:
- New text widget, GtkInscription, which can be used within list views and wherever you want the text to respond to the UI design rather than the other way around.

- Improvements in the accessibility of GtkStack and GtkTextView.

- GLib has moved from libpcre to libpcre2.
- GJS 1.73.1 has arrived with a smarter output display for the interactive interpreter, which prints the properties and values of objects based on their type. This enhancement also applies to the log() and logError() functions. On the other hand, the DBus proxy classes now include methods named with the Async suffix, which make asynchronous calls to the DBus APIs and return Promises. This is in addition to the existing Sync (for blocking calls) and Remote (for asynchronous calls with callback) suffixes. Gio.ActionMap.prototype.add_action__entries() has also been overridden, and now works.
- Citations has become part of the GNOME Circle.
- Gaphor 2.11.0 has added support for adding elements to diagrams using double clicks, join types, SysML Enumerations as ValueTypes, and numerous bug fixes. GTK4 compatibility has also been greatly improved, and it is expected that the next version will change to be the default version of GTK.
- Dialect 2.0.0 has arrived with:
- Ported to GTK4 and libadwaita.
- New color switcher in the app.
- Added support for Lingva Translate.
- Google Translate module rewritten from scratch to not depend on external libraries and improve reliability.
- GNOME search provider improvements.
- The APP ID has changed to app.drey.Dialect.
- API key support for LibreTranslate has been added.
- Added translation suggestion support for LibreTranslate.
- Fixed proxies rewriting http backend.
- The character limit now depends on the service.
- Major refactoring of the code base.
- The first version of the Blurble game has been released, a clone of Wordle written in Vala and with different languages in mind.
- Loupe has been updated to follow the new sketches.
