As they themselves explain, it shares a lot with Kubuntu, from where they take the base, but Ubuntu Studio 23.04 includes the content creator software metapackage by default.
The first thing they say in the news note is that Ubuntu Studio 23.04, like previous versions since they went to Plasma, shares many functions with Kubuntu, where slight modifications are made and applications are installed to generate content, either from image, video, audio or all together. The developer team provides a release note hours before the release of the stable version, and we have based this article on it. Whenever they ask me, and the question is about Ubuntu versions, I answer a bit the same thing: if you are in a normal cycle version, as would be the case right now with Ubuntu Studio 22.10, uploading is a must, or else support will be lost within three months. LTS users should wait for 24.04 at the earliest, as the base is more stable.

To upgrade to Ubuntu 23.04 from a previous version, a couple of things need to be said.
